At 10:00AM this morning, members of the Lake Dow North community met at the Lake Dow North lake entry for an education about the lake and our current dam situation. Miguel Pardo de Zela, Lake Dow North Board Member and dam committee vice-chair, shared both his general topical knowledge along with intimate information regarding our dam and current benefits and opportunities. Lake and Dam committee chair and Board Member, Joe Turner provided information on engineering proposals, bid proposals, and work scope for improvements to the main spillway, dock, and gazebos at the location. Providing background information pertinent to the history of the lake and dam situation as well as the vision moving forward were Board President, Richard Hendricks and Secretary, Nancy Tahaney. The pending reserve assessment was discussed by LDN Treasurer, Lisa Jaggard.
