What a fantastic Saturday it was! The Lake Dow North Fishing/Boat Committee would like to extend a massive thank you to everyone who came out to the dam/pavilion for our annual “Boats, BBQ & Beverages” event on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
Despite the heat, the community spirit was even warmer. We saw familiar faces and met so many new ones, and it was exactly the kind of afternoon that reminds us why we love living here.
A Perfect Afternoon on the Water
The event was everything we had hoped for and more. We had a great turnout for an afternoon filled with:

Delicious Food & Drinks: The BBQ was sizzling, and the beverages were flowing. A special shout-out to everyone who brought a dish to share!

Fun & Games: The ping pong tournament got competitive, the cornhole boards were busy all evening, and the Jenga tower was a test of steady hands!

Relaxation: It was wonderful to see so many people simply relaxing by the water, enjoying the breeze and the beautiful view of the lake.
The Best Part: Our Neighbors
As great as the food and games were, the true highlight of the evening was the conversation. It was incredible to see neighbors connecting, sharing stories, and getting to know each other. That sense of community is the best part of Lake Dow North.
To Our Amazing Volunteers
We cannot say this enough: THANK YOU. This event would not have been possible without the incredible group of volunteers who stepped up to put this together. From the planning and setup to the grilling and cleanup, your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed. We truly appreciate your time and effort in making this such a memorable day for everyone.
If you missed out on the fun, don’t worry! We are already looking forward to future events to keep the community spirit going.
